This is the new Superman costume for Dawn of Justice
Check out the new costume that Henry Cavill will be rocking in the Batman V Superman movie.
Director Zack Snyder has revealed the new Superman costume that Henry Cavill will don in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie.
Tweeted from the film’s official Twitter account, the new costume (below) doesn’t differ drastically from the one used in Man of Steel, but does have a few different changes to the details on the ribs and belt.
While it’s no doubt the film is setting the stage for the Justice League movie, Zack Snyder was also asked by USA Today why he’s chosen to include Batman in the Man of Steel sequel, as opposed to creating a new standalone Batman film.
“I was in no rush to put Batman in the movie”, Snyder said, “but on the other hand it seemed to organise the way our story was unfolding to start to feather him in”, added the director, implying that he’d rather rely on the mythology of the character to bolster his appearance.
“It’s cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys”, he added.
