Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed, Special Editions Unveiled
The Dark Knight’s next adventure will be arriving a little later than expected, but not lacking in style.
Warner Bros. and Rocksteady have dated the final chapter in the Batman Arkham series, with Arkham Knight now slipping to a 2 June 2015 release date.
Batman: Arkham Knight was originally on track for release this year, before Rocksteady and WB delayed the title in June. The game is planned exclusively for next-gen consoles and PC.
Warner Bros. has also announced two collector’s editions for the game. The Limited Edition comes with an art book, a steelbook case, a limited edition Arkham Knight comic, three New 52 character skins and a Batman memorial statue.
Recommended retail price:
- PS4/Xbox One: £89.99 (around R1,572)
- PC: £74.99 (around R1,310)
The Batmobile edition comes with everything above, except the Batman monument is replaced by a Triforce-created statue of Batman’s iconic ride. The statue is “fully transformable,” which we assume means it can take on the different modes as seen in the game. This version is only available for consoles.
Recommended retail price:
- PS4/Xbox One: £169.99 (around R2,970)
