Thierry Henry Calls It A Day
Thanks for the memories, Mr. Henry…
Football legend Thierry Henry has officially retired from football. Henry stated on social media this morning that he is going to call it a day on an illustrious career in football.
Titi – as he’s affectionately known – is best known for his spell at Arsenal tormenting the defences of many a Premier League team. The famous striker started his professional career at AS Monaco and went on to play for other European giants such as Juventus and Barcelona.
Whether you hate him or love him, Henry has an air of coolness about him that few footballers truly have.
Thierry, we at MenStuff salute you.
Here is Henry’s statement
“After 20 years in the game I have decided to retire from professional football. It has been an incredible journey and I would like to thank all the fans, team mates and individuals involved with AS Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, the New York Red Bulls and of course the French National Team that have made my time in the game so special.
It is now time for a different career path and I am pleased to say that I will be returning to London and joining Sky Sports. I will hopefully share some of the insights, observations and experiences I have learnt over the years with you guys.
I have had some amazing memories (mostly good!) and a wonderful experience.
I hope you have enjoyed watching as much as I have enjoyed taking part.
See you on the other side…”

Ya, I’m not a fan of Barcelona or Arsenal but you can’t help but admire his talent and all round awesomeness!
