5 New Games Releasing This Week
We give you the lowdown on which games are hitting SA store shelves and digital outlets this week.

This week there’s a variety of different games for every genre-lover. A zombified first-person shooter, a portable horror adventure, a point-and-click adventure, a puzzle-platformer, and an RPG.
Check out what’s releasing this week, below:
Zombi
Release date: 18 August (PC, Xbox One, PS4)
Ubisoft is bringing their Wii U exclusive survival horror game ZombiU to current-gen consoles this week. Zombi doesn’t look like a complete overhaul of ZombiU, but rather a polished-up port, but the game itself was well received by critics on Nintendo’s console, so we’re excited to see what it brings to the Xbox One, PS4, and PC this week.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2
Release date: 18 August (PS Vita)
One of the surprise hits from Capcom this year has been the episodic Resident Evil spin-off, Revelations 2, and the game is now hitting the PS Vita after shambling its way on the consoles and PCs. Made possible by the incredible team at Frima Studio, this collection brings all of the terror, action, and mystery of the console versions to the handheld console. On top of the four core episodes, you’ll also get two bonus episodes known as “The Struggle” and “Little Miss”, making it quite an extensive package.
Tales From The Borderlands: Episode 4 – Escape Plan Bravo
Release date: 19 August (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC, iOS, Android)
Based on the critically acclaimed Borderland games, Tales from the Borderlands is an episodic adventure game consisting of five episodes. The game is developed by the creators of The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series.
The fourth and penultimate episode is to be titled “Escape Plan Bravo”, and continues the story of Rhys and Fiona, who have been captured by Vallory and her goons, and are forced to continue the search for the Vault beacon – at gunpoint. The beacon is on the Hyperion moon base – Helios – while our heroes are on Pandora… so there’s the pesky cold void of death known as ‘space’ to overcome.
Trine 3: Artefacts of Power
Release date: 20 August (PC)
Trine is back, and the adventure puzzle-solving game is set to bring some new tricks up its sleeve when it launches this week on PC.
The third outing continues the three player online\offline co-op. Players control one of three different characters whose differing skill sets mean that if you want to succeed in the game, the best thing is to work together; be it using the Knight’s strength, the Wizard’s spells or the Thief’s agility.
Risen 3: Titan Lords – Enhanced Edition
Release date: 21 August (PS4)
Risen 3 released last year on last-gen consoles, but PS4 players have a chance to play a amped-up version of the popular action RPG adventure game.
The Enhanced Edition offers a graphical quality level comparable with the “Ultra” settings on the original PC release of Risen 3 and surpasses the originals visuals in a number of areas. Risen 3: Titan Lords oozes atmosphere, has a massive world, and varied enemies, providing a great gaming experience for those looking for something in the vein of Dragon Age or Diablo.

I will be downloading Episode 4 for Tales from the Borderlands and then sit and try to find time to dig into the game. Same story with Game of Thrones. Awesome games, Time is a bit limited.
