Bad Boys: Two Sequels Confirmed
Miami’s most loyal yet dysfunctional cops will be making a return to the big screen.
There have been murmurings for a good few years now of a Bad Boys 3, but due to scheduling and logistical problems of securing the stars and franchise director Michael Bay’s time have been some of the hiccups. However, Sony has confirmed that Bad Boys 3 is happening. Not only that, but Bad Boys 4 as well.
The studio has set a February 2017 release date for the first new sequel, with Bad Boys 4 then set to arrive in July 2019, marking a two and a half year gap between the films.
We assume that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are going to return, and it’s also speculated that Joe Carnahan (Narc, The Grey) will indeed be writing and directing the new film.
More details on the two news films have not been forthcoming thus far, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear more on them…
