The Springbok coach speaks about his bond with his All Blacks counterpart.
In the era of professional sport, many things can get lost. Respect, friendship, and camaraderie between players and coaches, and while vicious rivals, this is definitely not the case with the Springboks and All Blacks.
The two rugby nations have have been playing one another for almost a century, and while there’s no love lost on the field and battle for supremacy continues to this day, Springbok coach Heneyeke Meyer and All Blacks coach Steven Hansen have managed to form a great off-field friendship that’s not only admirable, but makes every rugby fan proud.
