New Details Slip Out For Upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game
Confirmed: fighting, pizza, and turtles.

Those beloved heroes in a half-shell are returning in a big way in 2016. Not only will they be getting a sequel to the 2014 big-screen reboot (which we loved, by the way), but a new TMNT game is also on the way.
Just over a month ago, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was spotted on the Australian Classification Board. The game, dubbed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, was said to be developed by Platinum Games, who recently released the impressive Transformers: Devastation, as well as Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The game is yet to be officially announced, but we now have some more details via the title’s Achievements that were leaked on XboxAchievement.com.
Based on the leaked Achievements, we can tell that Mutants in Manhattan contains some sort of online integration, lets you choose which character to play as, and has at least some light stealth elements as there’s an Achievement for completing a stage without being spotted. There’s also going to be various difficulty settings, at least one secret boss, and numerous side challenges like disarming bombs, transporting various items to portals and protecting pizza trucks.
Furthermore, an alleged piece of concept art (above) was tweeted last week by XBLA watchdog lifelower.
The gaming landscape is lacking some old-school co-op brawlers, so if all proves to be true, we’ll be a very happy bunch of fly-kicking-turtle fans.
