Fashion Tips For Guys, From A Female Style Expert
Men are increasingly under pressure to look good these days. Personal stylist, Tracy Gold gives her top tips to dressing yourself confident.
Should guys really care about how they look? Personal stylist, Tracy Gold, gives her opinion from a woman’s perspective.
Let me first say that not all women are a-like, but I do believe that most women would agree that the way a guy presents himself does matter. We may not be as visual focused as men are, but we also like a bit of eye candy…. and that doesn’t mean you have to look like a magazine cover.
Here are a few pointers:
A well put together look
Whether you are a business man wearing suits, a casual outdoor guy or hipster, you need to look well put together. This doesn’t have to mean slick if that isn’t you, it just means you need to give it a little thought. For example, do the colours you are wearing work well together, do the styles suit your build? Ask yourself these questions.
A good pair of shoes
Most women will notice your shoes, so make sure you wear shoes that work with your look. If you wear suits, a good pair of leather pointy shoes will work well; if you are a casual dresser a pair of converse sneakers may be just the thing for you. You can be comfortable and stylish at the same time.
Well groomed
Yes, guys… grooming is important. This means clean nails and hands, a good haircut, no little hairs sticking out of your nose and ears. If you have a beard, keep it clean and neat.
Attention to detail
Women often notice details that you might think are not important. Giving a little bit of time and thought to your look makes a big difference. A look that suits you and reflects your personal style will go a long way to being the kind of eye candy she’ll notice.
