Tom Hardy Wants to be Nolan’s Bond
Dark Knight Rises star wants to fill 007’s shoes.
Actor Tom Hardy will next be seen as the villain Bane in director Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated Batman finale The Dark Knight Rises, due in theaters July 20. The actor revealed on a U.K. radio program that he would love to star as James Bond, but only if he could re-team with Christopher Nolan. Here’s what Tom Hardy had to say below.
“I’d love to play Bond with Chris Nolan (as a) director or something, it would be awesome.”
Of course, the 007 position has been filled for the past few years by Daniel Craig, who is currently shooting the next James Bond adventure, Skyfall.

I dig Tom Hardy, he’s cool. Saw him in this movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which was absolute trash but he was still cool in it.
