Creed
If there’s any movie that was going to deliver that heart-wrenching sporting drama this year, it was Creed, and it releases this week. The film, which is a spin-off of the Rocky movies, follows the son of Apollo Creed, Adonis Johnson Creed (Michael B Jordan), as he travels to Philadelphia, where he meets Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and requests that the elder boxer train him.
Snoopy & Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie
It’s been a long time coming, but The Peanuts crew have finally got their own movie. The beautifully animated tale Snoopy embarks upon his greatest mission yet, as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their arch-nemesis, while his best pal Charlie Brown begins his own epic quest back home.
Bus 657
Cheesy action is the name of the game in Bus 657. Robert de Niro, Dave Bautista, Gina Carano, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Kate Bosworth star in this movie which follows two robbers as they hijack city Bus 657 and take the passengers hostage. Now, in a high speed chase, Vaughn will not only have to outwit the police, led by Officer Bajos, who are in hot pursuit, but he will have to contend with Pope’s maniacal right hand man, Dog, in order to make it through the day alive. But we quickly learn that things are not what they seem, and these anti-heroes have more than one card up his sleeve.
