Die Hard 5 Gets McClane Junior
Bruce Willis returns with son-in-tow.
Spartacus: Blood And Sand actor Jai Courtney has been confirmed as the new star of the Die Hard action film series.
In case you’re worried about ol’ Bruce being kicked to the curb, there’s hope yet. Willis will reprise his role as the iconic action hero John McClane, while Courtney will play his son, Jack.
Total Film.com obtained an official screen test image of the duo (as seen above). The film will look at the McClanes’ relocation to Russia to destroy a terrorist plot operating out of Moscow.
The fifth film in the series will be directed by Max Payne’s John Moore, and will be called A Good Day to Die Hard. The release date is set for 14 February 2013.

Seems like they’re doing their best to kill the franchise….. That said, i’m a huge Die Hard fan and i hope this one is goooooood!

I think directors and producers are hesitant to try a new action franchise, so jumping back to the old ones seem to be the answer, unfortunately.
