Here’s the Dark Knight Video Game You’ll Never Get to Play

Just about every big-name blockbuster that releases on the big-screen is accompanied by a tie-in video game, so when Christopher Nolan’s Batman follow-up, The Dark Knight, released in 2008, it was rather peculiar when no video game was released along side it.

What made it even stranger was that its predecessor, Batman Begins, did get its own licensed video game, even though it wasn’t particularly good.

The funny thing is, there was such a game in the works (reportedly), but nothing ever came of it. So, video game secret-seeker Unseen64 hit the industry vaults to see what he could find on the never-to-be-seen Dark Knight video game, and what he found was pretty interesting.

This cancelled Batman project was an open world stealth action game being made by Pandemic Studios to be published by EA. It was in development from 2006 to 2008, and was originally meant to release alongside The Dark Knight movie. The game would also feature actors from the film doing voiceover.
