Here’s everything you need to know about the movies releasing across SA this weekend.

There’s a fair bit of variety with the movies hitting cinemas this weekend, with Zoolander 2 leading the charge to provide some laughs, Triple 9 bringing a high-tensity crime-drama, and The Eye in the Sky ticking the thriller-box.
Here’s the movies releasing Friday, 11 March 2016:
The Eye in the Sky
Directed by South African director Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Tsotsi), Eye in the Sky follows high-ranking U.S. military officials who order a drone missile strike on a group of terrorists in Nairobi, Kenya. When the already dire situation escalates from “capture” to “kill”, the mission is complicated even further for their drone operator when a little girl enters the kill zone. Aaron Paul, Alan Rickman, and Helen Mirren star.
Triple 9
An all-star cast featuring Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul , Norman Reedus, Woody Harrelson, and Kate Winslet head up Triple 9. The film follows gang of criminals and corrupt cops who plan the murder of a police officer in order to pull off their biggest heist yet.
Zoolander 2
Creating a sequel to a cult classic is like walking a tight-rope, but Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson decided to return to the world of male models in Zoolander 2 in order to bring some laughs to demanding fans. Set 10 years after the original, Zoolander 2 sees Hansel (Wilson) and Derek (Stiller) thrust back onto the catwalks in an attempt to reinvent themselves and help Derek reunite with his estranged son.
