Some tight encounters, brilliant individual performances, and dramatic moments made for an incredibly entertaining weekend of sport. But with so many great highlights, we decided to rank out top 5; so without further ado, here are our picks of the best sporting moments from the past weekend:

The Chiefs’ brilliant Super Rugby try

Despite suffering a loss to the Highlanders, Aaron Cruden rounded off a spectacular try for the Chiefs.

Brache’s hat-trick

Former Western Province and current Western Force winger Marcel Brache scored a first-half hat-trick in his side’s 40-22 win over the Sunwolves.

Guyton’s ridiculous pass

Billy Guyton threw a magical no-look flick pass that leadto a sensational Tevita Li try in the Blues’ win over the Kings in Port Elizabeth.

Vardy’s goal against Everton

Leicester City had already won the Premier League this 2015/2016 season, but the Foxes put on another great display of footballing prowess against Everton, with Jamie Vardy scoring a brilliant goal in the opening minutes of the match.

Yuvraj Singh’s blunder

Following a brilliant innings, Sunrisers star Yuvraj Singh went out in the most bizarre way – hitting his own wickets.
