Fife’s last-gasp try
Scotland’s Dougie Fife secured the Scots’ first-ever World Sevens Series title with a brilliant try against South Africa in the final moments in the Cup final at Twickenham.
Baker’s burning of New Zealand:
USA beat New Zealand in the London Sevens Cup quarter-finals, with Perry Baker scoring four tries in the win – and they were quite the impressive 5-pointers.
Injera’s record-breaking moment
Kenya’s Collins Injera made history overnight with the Sevens star becoming the all-time leading tryscorer in Sevens history, followed by an emotional celebration with his family in the stands.
Juan Mata’s goal to seal the FA Cup
Manchester United’s Juan Mata volleyed a chest pass from Fellaini to score a brilliant 80th minute goal which secured the FA Cup title for his side.
Crusaders and Highlanders deliver the thrills
The match-up between the seven-time Super Rugby winners, the Crusaders, and defending champions, the Highlanders, brought the expected excitement, with a standout period of play coming in the 50th minute.
