Resident Evil fans, rejoice! The first trailer for the upcoming RE sequel, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter has arrived.

Milla Jovovich returns as series protagonist Alice, in what will be the 6th film in the franchise.

The Final Chapter picks up right after the last film, Resident Evil: Retribution, and sees Alice as the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s last stand against the undead. In returning to where it all began, she then finds out that the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a closing strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.

Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy and Fraser James also star.

The movie is scheduled to land in theatres in January of next year.
