When it’s time to find some nominees for the FIFA World Goal of the Year award, most immediately look to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi’s, but it may be a South African goalkeeper that bags the award this time around.

With his team trailing 1-0 with only seconds left on the clock, the Baroka FC goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke made his way up the field to join his teammates for the final corner kick of the match.

The cross was delivered neatly into the box, only for Pirates goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane to punch the ball in the direction of Masuluke, who allowed it to bounce before performing an outrageous bicycle kick that found the back of the net.

Take a bow, Oscarine Masuluke.
