Rugby League Live 4 Announced, First Screenshots Released
The next instalment in the Rugby League Live video game franchise is on its way!
Eager rugby fans and gamers alike are itching for a new rugby title to help them recreate some of the oval-ball madness seen on our TVs each weekend, and thankfully, there is a new game on the horizon, as Rugby League Live 4 has been announced.
Following a slip from commentator Andrew Voss, Tru Blu and Big Ant Studios have confirmed that a fourth game in the fan-beloved franchise is set for release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in 2017.
“Rugby League Live 4 continues to build on solid foundations with new features including custom Logo and Stadium Creation, and the most realistic NRL player likenesses ever featured in a game,” said Home Entertainment Suppliers Managing Director, Sebastian Giompaolo in the official press release.
“Big Ant Studios have taken the game to a whole new level, not just visually, but also with exciting gameplay and tactical improvements.
“A greater attention to the finer details and intricacies of the sport, along with precise refinements to the controls, and even more depth to the career mode, will help make this the best Rugby League video game to date.”
Also revealed were the first in-game screenshots for the title, showcasing the huge visual step-up for the game.
Rugby League Live 3 released in 2015 to some positive reviews (you can read ours here), however, there were some slight frustrations with the game. We’re looking forward to seeing the improvements with Rugby League Live 4.
