First Look at Adidas’ New “Ice Blue” Eco-Friendly Sneakers

After just releasing a three-sneaker collection earlier this month, Adidas is set to release yet another colourway and update of their environmentally-conscious Parley range.

Thanks to Sneakers.fr, we’ve now got our first glimpse of the Parley x adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Ice Blue, which comes with a Light Blue Primeknit upper and a few other design and colour tweaks.

The heel counter comes in the same hue as the upper, while hits of White on the laces, lining, canvas-constructed cage and Boost provide a nice finish to the new sneaker.

Just like past Parley x adidas collabs, this model continues Parley’s approach to sustainable design that consists of “avoiding virgin plastic, intercepting plastic waste, and re-designing new alternatives,” using an average of 11 plastic bottles, retrieved from the ocean, to create each per pair.

There’s no details on whether SA will receive them, prices or any word yet on if this latest Ultra Boost will be accompanied by any other models, so enjoy an early preview of the shoe here.
