8 Awesome PS4 Games You Can Buy for Under R300
We find the best deals of the biggest PS4 games around.
Gaming can be an expensive hobby these days, but MenStuff is here to help you find some digital adventures that aren’t too hefty on your wallet.
Check out 8 great PS4 games you can buy for under R300:
The Order: 1886
Still one of the best looking games on the Playstation 4, The Order: 1886 is a breathtaking technical marvel from developer Ready at Dawn. It’s short, very short, but given the impeccable level of detail, it’s understandable. The Order not only features spectacular visuals, but it also has some fun gunplay, unique weapons, and an interesting story. For under R200, it’s definitely worth a playthrough.
The Order: 1886 (PS4) – R189.90.
Dragon Age III: Inquisition
Dragon Age III: Inquisition is a huge game, and we mean that in every way possible. The scale of the world, skill trees, missions and enemies is incredibly impressive, so the 100+ hours that the game boasts is understandable once you experience its size. The combat mechanics are also incredibly fun, and if you’re a fan of the action-RPG genre, this is a must-play.
Dragon Age III: Inquisition (PS4) – R293.
Dead Island: Definitive Edition
Dead Island Definitive Collection includes “fully remastered” and “greatly improved” versions of Deep Silver’s addictive Dead Island, Dead Island: Riptide, DLC from both games, and a bonus game, Dead Island: Retro Revenge. It’s a comprehensive package for zombie lovers.
Dead Island: Definitive Edition (PS4) – R299.
Battlefield: Hardline
The Battlefield series’ cop-and-robbers spin-off is a fun distraction for its current price. Multiplayer is of course the major selling point too but an enjoyable campaign makes Battlefield: Hardline a far more rounded experience than previous series entries.
Battlefield: Hardline (PS4) – R280.
Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition
DMC: Devil May Cry was a highly-praised but largely unappreciated title when it hit the shelves in 2013. The series reboot of the popular Devil May Cry delivered rich, action-oriented gameplay, sensational visuals, and a compelling plot, and all of it got a spit, polish, and re-release on PS4.
Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition (PS4) – R291.
Homefront: The Revolution
OK, Homefront: The Revolution isn’t the best FPS around – it definitely has its shortcomings – but for under R200, it’s a fun experience for the admission fee. The game takes place after the events of the first, and thrusts players into the boots of a revolution soldier tasked with taking back the USA from Korean occupation.
Homefront: The Revolution (PS4) – R198.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition
Darksiders is a shamelessly underappreciated action adventure gem from the last generation, and it’s great to see the Apocalyptic adventure now available for PS4 (and Xbox One). It does so with some smoother visuals, spiffier graphics, and quicker load-times, but it does so without altering the gameplay – which is a good thing, given that it’s one of the best and most addictive hack-‘n-slashers you can get your hands on.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition (PS4) – R268.
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment
Crimes and Punishments takes place over the course of six perplexing, well-written cases that give Holmes ample opportunities to do what Holmes does best: Snoop around crime scenes for clues, interrogate suspects, and talk down to just about everyone he meets.
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment (PS4) – R264.
