In August 2016, two weeks after the Brumbies were knocked out of the Super Rugby finals, Christian Lealiifano was diagnosed with leukaemia. Given the toll treatment takes on one’s body, there was doubt the 29-year-old Wallaby would ever play rugby again. This past weekend, Lealiifano stepped onto the field as a replacement in the Brumbies’ quarter-final against the Hurricanes.

A true inspiration in the rugby world, Lealiifano has shown great strength to make his way back into professional sport despite the obstacles. YouTuber Rugby Montages HD has put together a montage dedicated to the return of the Brumbies star.
