Male Suicide & Chester Bennington’s Death Addressed by Russell Brand

Following the suicide of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, Russell Brand dedicates the latest episode of The Trews (his weekly web show) to addressing the topic of suicide, and more specifically male suicide, head-on.

Brand raises some important questions about the rising numbers of middle-aged male suicides in modern society, and how it is a growing, widespread problem that needs to be confronted. This isn’t the first time he’s addressed the topic, discussing the epidemic following Chris Cornell’s suicide in May.
