You can now pre-order your Xbox One in South Africa
SA gamers can now place their orders for Microsoft’s next-gen console.
Even though the delay has siphoned away a fair bit of the momentum of the hype train, South African gamers will be glad to know that they can now pre-order their Xbox One console.
Microsoft’s next-gen machine is hitting the shelves significantly later than the Playstation 4, but the Xbox One has accumulated a fair library of games over the past couple months, with some big hitter such as Sunset Overdrive and Halo 5: Guardians still to come.
Local retailers such as BT Games, Takealot.com, Dion Wired, AnimeWorx, Kalahari and new online retailer on the market, Raru.
There are two Xbox One bundles available: the normal standalone 500GB console without Kinect and a single controller (priced at R6,299), and the same bundle including the new Kinect camera, which will sell for R7,999.
The console itself will be physically available in-stores on 23 September 2014,
