Zuma painting vandalised

The controversial painting by local South African artist Brett Murray was vandalised on Tuesday.

The painting caused outcry from the country’s president as it exposed his genitals and was said to represent him in a bad light.

Two men then entered the Goodman Gallery where the painting hung, and continued to smear paint over the original image.

The vandals of the painting have been apprehended and taken into custody.
