With the changing season, it’s time to spruce things up a bit! Out with the old and in with the totally revamped, like this rather bold new take on the classic mojito featuring the world’s only triple malt whisky, Monkey Shoulder, which, along with winning numerous awards over the years, is also the world’s trendiest scotch – fact! Not only are we going to teach you how to make a Monkey Mojito, but also give you an opportunity to win with Monkey Shoulder!

Usually served in a highball glass, the Cuban classic Mojito consists of white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water and crushed mint, but since Monkey Shoulder like to break tradition as much as possible, the rather playful Monkey Mojito sees a dash of Monkey Shoulder for an unconventional yet delicious new taste.

Here’s how to make your own:

Monkey Mojito

Ingredients:

50ml Monkey Shoulder Whisky

20ml Fresh lime juice

15ml Sugar syrup

A dash of Angostura Bitters

Mint leaves

Ginger Ale

Method:

Add all the ingredients except the ginger ale to a glass. Muddle well then add crushed ice and stir. Top up with ginger ale and garnish with mint leaves and a lime wedge.

Cheers to spring!
