Sneakers are big business. The people who love those sneakers are part of what’s become a global phenomenon and so it’s not surprising then that in celebration of this massive sneaker culture there’d be an event dedicated solely to it. This month, the biggest sneaker event of them all, Sneakerness, a European convention series for the appreciation of all things kicks, is making its way to South Africa for the first time!

Taking place on Saturday 11 November, Sneakerness at The Fox Junction in Johannesburg, Sneakerness is unlike any event Joburg has ever seen. Already an event with a massive international following this event showcases all there is to offer in footwear and convention goers can expect top international brands, limited edition merchandise, independent stores, buyers, private sellers and traders all converging to experience the best of what’s on offer in the world of sneakers.
