Smokin’ Joe has still got it.
Earlier this week, we posted a video showing former All Black now-Toulon centre Malakai Fekitoa making a mockery of the Racing Metro defence, stepping inside their backline and even schooling another ex-All Black, Joe Rokocoko, in the process.
But, to be fair, good ole Smokin’ Joe did get his own back. Receiving the ball at a standstill, the 34-year-old threw an audacious dummy pass to new teammate Pat Lambie, and the Toulon defence parted like the Red Sea. On top of that, the former Auckland Blues speedster showed he still has a ridiculous turn-of-pace.
It’s glorious to watch.
