Whiskey enthusiasts that want to get a kuttke more familiar with spirits from the good ole US of A will have a great opportunity to participate in a day of whiskey tasting and entertainment at the end of this month, when the Proof American Whiskey Festival kicks off on the 27th of May.

House of Machines in Cape Town will be hosting the event, and they’ve built their brand on American Whiskey over the last four years, and with the increased popularity and exposure, the trendy venue has seen an opportunity to pull off a unique event, collaborating with some of the most notable names in American whiskey. Proof will be working with Jack Daniel’s, Gentleman Jack, Bulleit Bourbon, Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, and Woodford Reserve.

House of Machines has picked up on the increased popularity of American whiskeys, leading them to have Whiskey tasting evenings every Monday in May in addition to the full festival. These tastings and the festival will give an opportunity for three brands and eight different whiskeys to be showcased, so that tasters can get more information about how best to enjoy them in a great environment.
