Diesel’s Epic New Smartwatch Blends Classic Style & the Latest Tech

Diesel has long been known for their huge, urban-themed and eye-catching watch designs. At first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking this is just another one of their normal watches, perhaps with a lot of neon flair added, but this isn’t an ordinary watch.

The On Full Guard 2.5 is the successor to the original On Full Guard smartwatch, presumably the extra ‘.5’ denotes how much extra punch they’ve packed into its 45.5mm case. Here’s a breakdown of the 2.5’s specs:

• 454 x 454 pixel resolution
• 5mm diameter case
• Uses Google’s Wear OS
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 chipset
• 512MB of RAM
• 4GB Internal Storage
• 50m Water Resistance
• Onboard GPS

It will come in three different finish and strap combinations: matte steel with a black strap, gunmetal with a brown strap, and a matte black steel case with a black silicone strap. All three styles will release in October, with a retail price of $325 (R4,750), but there hasn’t been any confirmation for exact local pricing yet.
