One of the most underrated outside-backs in Super Rugby is undoubtedly the Blues’ Melani Nanai. The 25-year-old has always performed consistently, and will be on his way to Worcester Warriors in England at the end of the season; but before the lanky fullback departs, he’s making a statement.

Playing against the Highlanders, Nanai used his dazzling footwork to slip between the Highlanders’ front-rowers, before bamboozling the defence and putting TJ Faiane into some space, who offloaded to All Black winger Reiko Ioane to dot down.
