Need for Speed: Heat Revealed for Xbox One, PS4, and PC

The veteran racer returns with a new look and higher stakes!

Electronic Arts has unveiled the next instalment in the long-running Need for Speed series, entitled Need for Speed Heat. The game will take place in a new location known as Palm City, which will be a large open world setting where players can compete in both legal races during the day and illegal underground antics at night.

However, it wouldn’t be a Need for Speed game without some flashing-lights on your tail, and Heat introduces a new rogue police task force who are dead-set on taking you down and kitted out with some serious horsepower themselves.

Ghost Games (who were behind 2013’s Rivals, 2015’s Need for Speed and 2017’s Need for Speed: Payback) are still on development duty for this one, and emphasise that the game will highlight creativity, allowing players to take control of some highly-detailed customisation tools to make their car unique.

Need for Speed Heat will launch on 8 November 2019 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can check out the reveal trailer below:
