Sonny Bill Williams scores on Roosters debut

Sonny Bill Williams Roosters

All Black star Sonny Bill Williams has scored for the Roosters in Round 1 of the NRL tournament, despite the Sydney team losing 10-28 to the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

The try came in the 78th minute, when Williams received a short pass 10 meters out to race away under the posts.

Williams has recieved a lot of limelight with his return to rugby league following a successful seasons with the All Blacks, and a controversial boxing stint with former South African heavyweight Francois Botha.

Williams has joined the Sydney Roosters for the 2013 NRL season, alongside big-name players such as Anthony Minichello , Michael Jennings and James Maloney.
