Force Cheetahs

The Cheetahs will travel to Perth to take on the Force on Saturday, 23 March 2013, for Round 6 of the 2013 Super Rugby tournament.

The Cheetahs have fast become the fan-favourites of the 2013 Super Rugby tournament, thanks to their wins over the Highlanders and Waratahs.

The Cheetahs have a few changes from the team that won last week.

Heinrich Brussow will start on 6, replacing the injured Frans Viljoen who is dealing with a calf muscle strain.

Following the news that Johan Goosen picked up an injury and Riaan Smit will step in for Johan Goosen, following the sad news that the Springbok has torn his knee ligaments.

Boom Prinsloo and Francis Burton are new editions to the bench.

For the Western Force, Matt Hodgson and lock Sam Wykes return from injury.

Alfie Mafi, who is tied for the top try-scorer, will play his 50th Super Rugby game on Saturday.

Coming off of a win over the Reds, the Force will have a lot of confidence going into the clash, and the Cheetahs, also on a high from the last two matches, will be eager to add another victory to the tour.

Rugby Informer’s prediction: The Force played well against the Reds, although the 2011 champions didn’t exactly put up the biggest challenge. The Cheetahs have had stellar performances, and if there was another game that they would win, it’s this fixture. Cheetahs by 10.
