New Release Dates Announced for The Last of Us 2 & Ghost of Tsushima
Here’s when you’ll be getting your hands on two of the PS4’s biggest upcoming releases.
Sony has announced new release dates for two of the PS4’s biggest upcoming games, The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima.
After the initial delays, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II will now arrive on 19 June while Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima will follow on 17 July.
The updated release dates are to accommodate the global logistical complications brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, while also providing the respective development teams more time given the current situation.
Alongside the release date announcement, Sucker Punch provided an update on the development progress of their open-world samurai game:
There are a few finishing touches to apply and bugs to squash – so we’ll put these extra couple weeks to good use.
We hope you all are staying safe. We can’t wait for you to play, and we’ll have many more details on gameplay to share very soon!
