Fiji’s fantastic tries against Japan
Fiji’s two brilliant tries against Japan in the Pacific Nations Cup gave the South-sea islanders the edge in touch conditions.

Fiji faced off against Japan in the Pacific Nations Cup, defeating the Japanese 34-21 in an exciting match plagued by some tough weather conditions.
As the rain poured down at Churchill Park in Lautoka, Fiji, the two teams weren’t put off by the slippery conditions and ran the ball at one another to make the most of defensive slip-ups.
Fiji scored two great tries, including one by Sireli Bobo and Aisea Natoga.
Bobo (now 37-years old) scored a fantastic try, using his playmaking and finishing skills, showing that he still has the pace of youngster in his legs.
The second try was rounded off by replacement winger Aisea Natoga, but it was Nikola Matawalu’s brilliant pass that set it up.
