New 2021 Springbok Jersey Unveiled
Asics reveal the brand-spanking new Springbok jersey for the upcoming Lions tour.

Asics has unveiled the new 2021 season jersey that the Springboks will don in 2021, most notably, against the British and Irish Lions during their Test series in July and August 2021.
The jersey will first be seen when the world champions during the highly-anticipated Test series, where South Africa will play against the best players from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales in three home matches.
The most notable changes are on the collar, which moves away from the hexagonal accent that we saw on the 2019 World Cup jersey, and the dark badge which the Springbok emblem sits on.
“Lions tours come around only every 12 years, so we thought it appropriate to create a jersey that is indisputably unique,” said Jurie Roux, SA Rugby CEO. “It will be worn by the team on only three occasions and we wanted to make it memorable and special for the players and hopefully this unique rendering of Springbok green – in conjunction with the badge – will do exactly that.”
The new jersey is priced at R900, with a male and female version available on the SA Rugby store.
