WATCH: Batman Fan Film is Worthy of the Big-Screen

While we’re set to get some serious Batman goodness with Zack Snyder’s Justice League recut version and Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight solo film later this year, there’s another Caped Crusader entry to check out: the Batman: Dying is Easy fan-film.

The 25-minute short film is a passion project by directors Sean Schoenke and Aaron Schoenke (who also plays The Joker in the film), and takes bits of lore and events from Batman comics, but carves out its own narrative and feel for something different.

“We want to give the fans something they’ve always craved with these characters. A psychological, dark detective story with an almost horror film feel,” explained the directors. “This film is created by fans for the fans.”

Batman: Dying is Easy also stars Kevin Porter as Batman, along with Michael Madsen as Bullock.
