Gaming isn’t cheap these days, but we’ve got your back when it comes to looking for the best deals out there. Thankfully, there are some great specials going down, and you can pick up some pretty impressive games without breaking the bank; so we’ve rounded up 5 titles you can snatch this weekend for less than R200.

Resident Evil 2 Remake

Price: R199 on Xbox One | R199 of PS4

Resident Evil 2 is a stellar remake of the fan-beloved original, capturing the aura of the Playstation classic while reinvigorating the setting with new visuals, gameplay mechanics, and current-gen triple-A quality, making it not only one of the best remakes ever, but one of the best survival-horror games that you can get your hands on.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition

Price: R199 on Xbox Series X

While ‘style over substance’ is often a route many games take, Devil May Cry 5 manages to deliver both in heaps, bringing one of the smoothest and reactive combat systems around, along with stunning visuals and a surprisingly interesting story that’ll catch fans and newcomers off-guard. Devil May Cry returns in stunning form with its fifth primary entry.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Price: R199 of PS4

While it may initially appear it, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is anything but an expansion/DLC for Uncharted 4. This is a fully-fledged Uncharted game, and not to mention one of the best of the bunch – and that’s saying a lot. Admittedly, there’s no denying that a little something is missing with the absence of series protagonist, Nathan Drake, but the anti-heroines and expanded ideas do confirm that there’s life in the Uncharted series beyond Nathan Drake, full of climbing, gunfights, emotional story beats, and high-octane action.

The Evil Within 2

Price: R149 on Xbox One | R149 of PS4

The Evil within 2

The Evil Within was a surprise hit when it released in 2014, and the follow-up expanded on the somewhat linear, survival-horror formula by throwing players into bigger environments and at trickier enemies, while refining the stiff controls from the first game. The story is a bit all over the place (as is with most of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami’s games), but it does manage to come together when things start wrapping up. For fans of Resident Evil 4Dead Space or The Last of Us, this is a great addition to your nightmare fuel for a price that won’t hurt the wallet much.

Wolfenstein II

Price: R199 on Xbox One | R199 on PS4

Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is every bit the challenging, over-indulgent Nazi-shooter you want it to be, but it’s also not as brash and blunt as it initially looks, providing a relatable, human story alongside its spray of bullets and blood. A must-play for first-person shooter fans, and for under R200, it’s a steal.
