TRAILER: Will Ferrell & Jamie Foxx’s Hilarious R-Rated Dog Movie

We’ve had a few talking animal movies in recent times, but none that really push the boundaries of adult humour. Well, Strays is here to do just that, telling the story of a discarded dog who meets some new friends for a city-spanning adventure.

The film features the voice talents of Will Ferrell, playing a naïve, relentlessly optimistic Border Terrier, who is abandoned on the mean city streets by his lowlife owner, Doug (Will Forte; The Last Man on Earth, MacGruber). After meeting a fast-talking, foul-mouthed Boston Terrier named Bug (Oscar winner Jamie Foxx), the dogs hatch a plan and embark on an epic adventure to help Reggie find his way home … and make Doug pay by biting off the appendage he loves the most. (Hint: It’s not his foot).
