Adidas Predator 24: SA Pricing & Everything You Need to Know

Adidas has launched the latest iteration of the long-running Predator football boot franchise, the Predator 24. A nod to the boot that started it all three decades ago — it unites pure 90s nostalgia with the high-tech performance of today to create a boot for a whole new generation of players.

While Predators of recent years have featured elements of the original Predator DNA, this Predator 24 takes a proper shot at the old-school look and feel, while bringing new-age innovations into the design. It carries the famed black, white and red colourway but is made bolder in hue, and completed by vibrant yellow taping.

The silhouette comes in three variations which offer a combination of design features to suit various price points: laced, laceless and a classic laced variant with a fold-over tongue for those looking for a pure look of nostalgia.

Key design features include:

• The Controlframe 2.0 lightweight soleplate and heel construction optimise traction for dynamic movement and stability when striking the ball.
• A Hybridtouch 2.0 upper provides a moulded fit with cushioning in key contact areas for comfort and a soft touch on the ball.
• Strikeskin fins are strategically placed in strike zones, to support ball grip for precision shot-making.
• Stretchable laceless Primeknit Collar allows for easy entry and secure lockdown.

The Predator 24 models are available from 23 January 2024 in Adidas stores and from the official online store.

Like previous Adidas models, there are four ‘tiers’ available, with laced and laceless options available in some of them. As of the time of writing, the tongue version of the boot doesn’t seem to be available on the South African Adidas’ store.
