Dwayne Johnson Confirmed To Star In Baywatch Movie
The Rock is set to star in the silver-screen reboot of the classic 90s TV show.
Believe it or not, Baywatch is heading to the big-screen, but the much talked-about adaptation won’t feature an old Hasselhoff running around on the beach, but rather Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures has hired Justin Malen to rewrite the script. Jeremy Garelick and Peter Tolan were among those who’d previously written scripts for the movie. Sean Anders and John Morris, who co-wrote the hit comedy “We’re the Millers,” are attached to direct.
Dwayne Johnson himself confirmed the news via Instagram.
“This is my beach, b—-! Rumors are true… we’re making #BAYWATCH the movie. Edgy, raunchy and hopefully, funny as all hell. Cue slo mo running on the beach… #WhoNeedsMouthToMouth #RedShortsBeHugginABrotha,” The Rock wrote.

They should get the cast from Pain and Gain (Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Mackie, Dwayne Johnson, and Bar Paly).
