David Beckham is synonymous with curving free-kicks, but the England legend is also well known for being one of the faces of Adidas’ Predator boot range, having a number of signature pairs during his heyday. Well, the Inter Miami owner, despite being retired from the game, has teamed-up with Adidas once more for a celebratory pair of Adidas Beckham Predator boots, and they’re gorgeous.

Beckham wanted to be a part of the design process of the boots, rather than just slapping his name on it, and was heavily included in the look and details of the boots.

The boots themselves use the popular Predator 24 as a base, but Beckham, who loves the tongue on the Copa Mundial, opted to incorporate it into the new-age Predator, so you get a much wider and ‘straighter’ tongue as opposed to the new side-lying tongue on normal retail Predators.

Additionally, the tongue itself and side stripes feature the Adidas Originals Trefoil logo, which is a first in the football boot range, as the Adidas Original tag and Trefoil are often reserved for streetwear collections.

Another bonus is that the boots feature a leather upper, whereas the normal Adidas Predator 24, while soft and incredible comfortable, are made from a synthetic material.

Colour-wise, the Adidas Predator 2024 Beckham boots are inspired by David Beckham’s white and blue Predator 2005 football boots. They combine a white base with blue for the tongue and other applications.

The bad news is that the Beckham Predators are limited to 3,000 pairs globally, and will set you back £240 (around R5,500). They will launch on 7 November 2024.
