Atletico Star Loses His Cool And Throws Boot At Linesman [Video]

Tensions ran high as Atletico Madrid took on Barcelona in their Copa del Rey quarter-final second-leg last night.

Barcelona beat the home side 3-2 on the night despite falling behind twice as goals from Fernando Torres and Raul Garcia gave the Madrid side hope.

It was an ill-tempered affair with Atletico eventually ending the night with nine men after Gabi was shown red in the tunnel at half-time and Mario Suarez receiving a second yellow card in the latter stages.

Somehow though, Turkish international Arda Turan escaped an early bath after seeing the red mist and throwing his boot at a linesman after a decision didn’t go his way.
