As we begin to see the tail-end of February, we get some big-hitters landing on SA store-shelves this week, including a highly-anticipated zombie survival adventure, a super-powered fighter, and a returning fright-fest.

What will you be playing this week?

Dying Light

(27 February – PS4, Xbox One, PC – digital version already available)

Techland is continuing its zombie hack-and-slash fighting from Dead Island with publisher WB. The title introduces parkour-style traversal and traps to the mix. It’s Mirror’s Edge meets Dead Rising, and did we mention it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Dying Light released digitally already and has been receiving some great praise from international publications for its freedom, AI and visuals. We’ve gotten our paws on it and are absolutely loving it so far – expect the MenStuff review shortly.

Players can create characters from multiple races, with the ones available being Saiyans, Namekians, Earthlings, Majins and Frieza’s currently unnamed race. XenoVerse will also be the first Dragon Ball game released on some eighth generation consoles as well as PC.
