For those who’ve been out the loop of the northern hemisphere’s Six Nations rugby tournament, Ireland essentially had the competition in the bag, leaving the final match between England and France to be played out.
However, there was an off-chance that England could jump ahead (due to a points difference) if they scored a certain number of points against France.
England got close, but conceded a penalty at the end. All France needed to do was kick the ball out to deny the Red Rose a shot at the title. But in typical stubborn French fashion, Les Bleus decided to run take a tap-penalty and try to score.
The emotional roller-coaster sent an Irish fan to the edge, and it’s pretty hilarious [NSFW].
