WATCH: 2 Aussie Guys Fake Their Way into a Pro Golf Tournament in North Korea
Probably the best story you’ll hear all year.
Taking pranking to an insane new level, two Australian friends have successfully fooled the North Korean government into believing they were professional golfers there to represent Australia for the North Korea Open tournament.
The two said “we knew they weren’t big on Internet”, suggesting North Korean authorities involved weren’t able to search the web to check their identity – it wasn’t until they started playing and hit 3 drives off the 1st tee into the water did it become clear to authorities they were just amateur hacks (neither play golf – “I hit 120 and my caddy told me I had brought great shame to my family”, and if it weren’t for the 15-year-old Nepalese ambassador’s daughter the pair would’ve finished last).
