Friends, Family and Fans gathered last week Tuesday, April 10th, at Hollywood’s Cinerama Dome for the West Coast screening of ‘Waiting for Lightning’, a featured length documentary about pro skater Danny Way.

The documentary features a balance between the hardship he faced during his upbringing, like instabilities at home, and his freedom to play outdoors and become one of the world’s greatest skaters today.  The film is also in honor of one of Way’s father figures/mentors, Mike Ternasky, who passed away during the rise of his success.

“Ultimately, it’s not about the skating. Rather, the film achieves what all good stories ought to. It reminds us of the deeply personal, universal struggles.”

This is the true, incredible story of Danny Way.  Check out the short clip of ‘Waiting for lightning’ above.
