Hero the Hedgehog is the Best Sports Mascot Ever [Video]

The hero we need is not always the hero we deserve. And we sure as hell don’t deserve Hero the Hedgehog.

While Usain Bolt and Mo Farah’s retirements were supposed highlights, it was the IAAF World Championships’ official mascot that stole the show. And thanks to Hero’s mischievous activities throughout the Championships, which brought a huge smile to everyone’s faces, Hero has drawn some attention to the endangerment of the hedgehog species – one of the reason’s that a hedgehog was chosen in the first place.
