Philipp Hofmann’s underwhelming attempt at goal has to go down in the history books as one of the worst ever.
It was an unbelievable scene from matchday 7 in Bundesliga 2, as Kaiserslautern’s Philipp Hofmann managed to put the ball over the bar from less than two metres away.
The only thing that saved his blushes was the fact that Kaiserslautern went on to win 1-0 against Union Berlin.
