Chevy’s New Corvette C8 is an Absolute Stunner
Chevrolet introduces its drop-dead gorgeous Corvette revitalisation.

GM has unveiled its latest Corvette iteration, the C8, ahead of its official May reveal date, showcasing one of the best-looking versions in the company’s history.
Taking a fairly radical look at the design, the C8 features a full aesthetic overhaul, now housing an all-new mid-engine structure. The engine itself is a 6.2 litre LT2 V8 and can be seen through a sizeable rear hatch window
The door handles and the hatch and hood have also been hidden for a perfectly clean appearance and improved aerodynamics; and rearward engine allows for a lower cowl, hood and steering wheel. There’s also an alternative Engine Appearance Package, which adds carbon-fibre components as well as LED lights to illuminate the engine
Ultra-light 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels are available in two designs with two spoke styles, adding a clean sporty look to the low-profile tyres.
Chevrolet has also been emphasising the customisability of the new C8, allowing interested buyers to head over to their website and customise everything from the colour to the seats.
Pricing on the C8 starts at $58,900 (around R1,050,000)
